We've noticed lots of new faces showing up at Aunt Patty's Attic the past few days.

Every day there are a few more Santas on the shelves . .

Lots of snowmen too...

A moose or two . . .

There are even a few mice stirring . . .

Every day we're opening hundreds of boxes, welcoming more Santas and snowmen . .

We expects lots of these to go to new homes this week as our Christmas Open House begins on Friday, October 14th and continues through Sunday, October 16th.

New Furniture Shipments

Take a look at some of the new furniture we've just received.

This classic wing chair is covered with a brand new fabric from

Johnston Benchworks. The colorful design on the black background will

work great with mustards, reds and rusts.

A great selection of neutrals has been added to the fabric collection. These are

just a few of the new fabrics we've received recently.

We've used the coverlet pattern on this club chair.

And here's the Little Petals pattern on a gooseneck rocker.

If you're thinking about ordering any Johnston Benchworks

upholstered pieces, now is the time to do it so you'll get delivery

before Thanksgiving. Delivery is currently running about 5 weeks!

We've just received a huge order of textiles. There are over a dozen new patterns in all patterns and colors. Here's a couple of highlights:

This cheery collection in shades of red, taupe, yellow and sage features towels in florals, patchwork and checks. A ceramic collection with a patchwork pattern looks fantastic with our sage or gray dinnerware.

The Black Star collection has been expanded to include tan and black plaids and ticking stripes. A black, tan and white braided chair pad coordinates with all the patterns. We have a great selection of towels, dishclothes, chair pads, rugs and runners in these new patterns.

Another glimpse of Spring

With another 4 - 5 inches of snow on ground, another dose of spring is called for. And if you're as tired of the white stuff as we are, there isn't a better place to visit than Aunt Patty's. All the new Spring decor that's arriving daily is sure to brighten your day.

Check out Ramona, a great new folk art doll that we've just unpacked. And the little Baby Tears topiaries are the perfect size to brighten up a corner.

Here are some of the great daffodils in the store. The ones in the black tin planter have bulbs with a stake at the bottom -- its so easy to make the neat potted arrangement -- just add a sheet of moss over some florist foam in your favorite container and you're done.

There's even more snow in the forecast but we'll be here all week-end ready to help you bring some Spring into your home! See you soon!

"White" Christmas Open House!

We always hope that the weather will cooperate with our Christmas Open House -- you know, kind of cool and cloudy . . . just enough to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. But this year, the weather cooperated beyond our wildest expectations with an inch or so of snow . . .

The record for the earliest inch of snow in Lincoln is October 9, 1970. So we didn't break any records . . but almost! Are you all in the spirit now?

Our newest line of textiles comes from one of the last surviving U.S. textile mills. Woven on old, outdated looms, original 18th & 19th century designs are reproduced & adapted for the 21st century.

Our selection includes blankets, shams, throws, runners, placemats, table squares and pillows.

Most pieces are cotton or cotton/acrylic blend and machine washable.
